Are you ready to explore the best hikes in Redwood National Park?! Well then, you have come to the right place!
Hiking through the redwood trees is pure magic! These trees are some of the tallest, oldest, and most massive species on Earth. It’s no wonder that the movies “Jurassic Park” and “Star Wars” were filmed here.
I’ll never forget my first time hiking amongest the redwoods. It’s a humbling experience to stand at the base of the tallest trees in the world.
In this post, I will share everything you need to know to plan an epic trip to Redwood National Park:

My favorite place to hike in the redwoods is the James Irvine Trail. This 9 mile round trip hike starts and ends at Prairie Creek Visitor Center. The trail winds through immense redwood trees and giant fern. The vegetation becomes more dense as you reach the coast.
The trail leads to Fern Canyon, which consists of high walls of stone and fern.
